Starting from this semester, new lockers have been installed.This time, the lockers are located in the basement. While this is convenient for several reasons such as the locker being larger so we can put lots of stuff in the new locker, it also seems to have some inconveniences as well. So, to hear many opinions from students, I interviewed them about the new lockers.

What do you think about the new lockers?
A: “I think it’s better than the previous lockers. Last year, the hallway was very tiny and tight so many students had a hard time to go down and to move. Also, it took a long time to pass through the hallway due to the lockers.”

What are the advantages of the new lockers?
A: “Unlike the previous lockers, the new lockers have dial locks. I can set my own password, which I can use more safely. Also, the new locker’s storage space became larger so I can put a lot more stuff in there such as books, notebooks or shoes.”

What are some good things about the new lockers?
A: “The hallways became wider and more comfortable to move around. I can reduce my time moving to classes during break time. I heard many students say that the new lockers are better than the old ones because of the big hallway”

What are the bad things about the new lockers?
A: “I think it makes me lazy to go downstairs to pick up my stuff because it is located in the basement. Sometimes, I try to put my stuff in my homeroom and try to not put it in my locker.”
This interview shows that there are different kinds of opinions about the new lockers. There were some good opinions and also its special characteristic about the new locker and also there were some bad things too. However, most of the students seem to like the new lockers better than the previous ones.
