Another academic year is coming to an end; the seniors are graduating to move on to their new adventure, and rising freshmen will bless our hallways. This year, we had a pack full of events that decorated our academic year with excitement. Let’s take a look at some of the events that happened in 2025-2026.

1. Koinoina Camp

This year, we visited Sokcho for their 2025 Koinonia Camp. It was very fun. On the first day we went to a water park and had good food. And at the end of the day we did worship and prayer. It was a fun day but also a very tiring day. On the second day we had BBQ outside. The weather was nice, and we all had a fun time. During the second day at night we had worship and the talent show. And on the last day of Koinonia we went to Seoraksan and hiked for a short while.

2. Varsity Wins

This year, Cornerstone varsity participated in volleyball, basketball, and soccer. In this season every sports team has done a great job. For volleyball, The girls and boys volleyball varsity both won 2nd place in the SKAC tournament. And for basketball, the boys’ varsity won first place in the SKAC tournament. The girls also won 3rd place. As for soccer, this year was the first time the girls soccer varsity was made. Meanwhile, the boys soccer finished 2nd place in the KISAA league, and the girls still had some matches left, so we’ll look forward to it.

3. Winter Festival

This year’s Winter Festival was Mario Bros. themed. Just like previous Winter Festivals, most of Cornerstone’s clubs could showcase what they had been doing, or sell goods or food items for fundraising. This was also the first time that Cornerview joined Winter Festival to sell stickers of high school and middle school teachers drawn as cartoon characters, which received high acclaim from both students and teachers. Ian Kim, our first-ever illustrator, worked very hard to make the stickers.

4. Overnight event

The trampoline overnight event took place at the Bounce Trampoline Park in Samseong Station. It was one of the most exciting memories of the year. Students jumped on the trampolines, played games and ate delicious food with their friends outside of normal school hours.

5. Lotte World

After the unexpected canceling of Sports Day, Cornerstone headed off to Lotte World as an alternative way to spend the day. There, people had fun enjoying rides, eating food, and of course, wearing their sports day t-shirts. Rides such as the French Revolution were a hotspot for many Cornerstone Students.

6. Orchestra performance

Held Seoul Children’s Grand Park, this orchestra subscription concert was the first Cornerstone concert to be held outside. Students from elementary all the way to high school played their songs with passion, expressing their musical talent through their instruments.
