[Hello, Cornerstone! Many new teachers have joined Cornerstone this semester. With many new faces, the first few weeks were filled with excitement in the air. Since there are many new teachers, I’ve gotten a chance to meet a few of them and ask questions. Mr. Tejera (Spanish teacher and homeroom teacher of 10-3) and Mr. Chang (10th grade counselor, 9th grade homeroom teacher, and AP Psychology teacher) gladly cooperated with me on this task]

Question 1: What is your impression of Cornerstone so far?

Mr. Tejera: “There are so many teachers and students which makes it easy to get to know all of them.”

Mr. Chang: “Students in Cornerstone are very lively and it seems like a very close community”

 

Question 2: What is your favorite moment in Cornerstone so far?

Mr. Tejera: “My favorite moment so far was when we went to the beach as a school to swim and play volleyball.”

Mr. Chang: “My favorite moment is when we went to the beach as a school because I got to see the whole school together.”

 

Question 3: What is your goal for this first semester?

Mr. Tejera: “My goal is for my students to get good grades in class and have a successful school year.”

Mr. Chang: “My goal is to get to know my students much better.”
